Support Kollel Tifheret David in Torah learning and growth in leadership for Klal Yisroel,

Why Donate?

Over three years ago, with Hashem’s help, we launched our Kollel Tifheret David for full seder of Torah learning. Under the leadership of Rabbi Eliyahu Quedoshim Shlit’a, we created a welcoming environment for Avrechim to be the next leader of poskim of am yisroel.

Smicha Program

We started a Smicha program (program of learning towards achieving Rabbinic diploma) covering very practical day to day subjects such as

  • Basar v’chalav (laws of dairy and meat)

  • Taarovot (laws of general mixtures of kosher food and non kosher food)

  • Bishul Akum and Pat Akum (foods, cooked or baked by a non-Jew)

  • Kashering of utensils and immersing them into the mikve

  • Laws of familiy Purity

  • Laws of Shabbat and moreOur program stands out by providing a unique space for individuals who have spent years in Kollel and seek a place to continue their learning at a high level. Here, they study with one another and alongside dedicated Avreichim, culminating each week in an in-depth shiur on the week’s sugya.

about year ago the Avrechim pass the test and got smicha from B.M.G on the sugia of Basar v ’chalav and Taarovot.

Your generous donations will help us to continue create more posking in am yisroel, allowing us to serve even more members and spread Torah throughout our community.

Thank you for your support in helping us continue this journey of learning and growth.

Our Story

  • Rabbi Eliyahou Quedoshim envisioned creating a Kollel where each person would have the proper environment to develop into a future leader of various communities. Our plan is to form a strong group, starting from 12 devoted married young men (avreichim) who spend the day mastering various subjects in Halacha (jewish law) focusing on the sefaradic custom.

This in depth study starting from the source in the Talmud throughout the Tur and Shulchan Aruch, and contemporary Poskim would provide the Avreichim (students) with the necessary knowledge enabling them to reach definitive Halachic conclusions.

We started a Smicha program (program of learning towards achieving Rabbinic diploma) covering very practical day to day subjects such as

    • Basar v’chalav (laws of dairy

    and meat)

    • Taarovot (laws of general

    mixtures of kosher food and

    non kosher food)

    • Bishul Akum and Pat Akum

(foods ,cooked or baked by a

    non jew)

    • Kashering of utensils and

    immersing them into the mikve

    • Laws of family purity

    • Laws of Shabbat and more

The students will be taking exams by the halachik authorities of the famous Lakewood Yeshiva, Beth Medrash Govoha (B.M.G). And eventually receiving Semicha (Rabbinic diploma). Such a program would engage the student for an intense 5 years learning.

The Kollel is led by Rabbi Eliyahou Quedoshim. R’ Quedoshim studied in his younger years at Yeshiva of Montreal under the guidance of Rabbi Altusky shlita. After he got married, he learned in Lakewood Yeshiva (B.M.G). Then he joined a Halacha Kollel at Kollel Bnei Torah under the guidance of Rabbi Lefkowitz Shlita. He received semicha from B.M.G and Rabbi Heinman Shlita of Baltimore. He then served as the Rabbi of Kehillat Tov of Staten Island for ten years.

The Kollel is located in an existing Bet hamidrash in the midst of Lakewood N.J.

It is well understood that in order to allow this vision transform into a reality a large budget has to be maintained monthly, providing the students a stipend to enable them to devote themselves to their studies.

We call out to all who would like to share in this tremendous project building the future of Klal Yisrael.

It is a fact proven by history that only through the study of Torah is the guaranty of our precious heritage. תורה Like the passuk predicated The .צוה לנו משה מורשה קהילח יעקב

Torah that Moshe commanded us is the heritage of the congregation of Yaakov.

It is through the partnership and generosity of those who share the sense of purpose of Rabbi Quedoshim that the light shall emanate from this future Kollel and illuminate all of our supporters.

May the merit of supporting Torah, in a way that would provide the jewish communities with future leaders be a source of blessing in all your endeavors.
